I became a speech-language pathologist for one simple reason: I wanted to help people who struggle to be heard.

I've spent the last 10+ years doing exactly that! Working with hundreds of children and their families in El Paso and New Mexico who were delayed in talking, struggling with speech sounds, or facing communication challenges. I've also worked with adults whose lives changed in an instant due to stroke or brain injury, helping them rebuild their communication and independence.
